Trail clearing ride – 29th January

Lump gets to work on the trail at the back of President Kennedy School

The Sunday trail clearing ride. Only Lump and Pav turned up, but we had a real good go at clearing the trail at the back of President Kennedy School. How we rode that before I don’t know. No wonder everytime we did we ended up looking like the ‘Self Harmers Mountain Bike Club’.

We then carried on round the Bedrock loop, and did a bit of clearing on the trail next to the Brose factory. Then it was towpath to the Greyhound, along the Oxford for a bit and up and over the hill.

The Bedrock loop kind of got abandoned at some point, and we rode the Sowe Valley path to the hospital, then through Coombe to Brandon Wood. A quick spin round there then Lump headed off through the hotel while me and Pav headed into the city on the Binley Road.

All in all a good day, bit of trail clearing, some nice riding and a good laugh
