Post Monsoon Mudfest – 28th April

With the weather forecast for the day being cloudy, overcast, but no rain, I decided to ride over to the Cocked Hat to meet up at 10am. Imagine my suprise (or not) when before I’d even reached the city centre it was raining…… fortunately after about an hour it stopped. Whoo hoo!

A blast round Brandon Wood, bridleways to Brinklow, Towpath, back to Brinklow and bridleway back to the Speedway. A final blast round Brandon, under the A46 and out into Binley Industrial Estate….

After all the rain we’ve had it was a bit of a mudfest (look at the gloop running down Tony’s down tube), but I don’t think we expected anything else. With the rain forecast for tomorrow pretty much any ride over the next week is going to be messy!

And I’ve got the GT in bits 😦

Ride – #67     Bike – Gary Fisher Paragon 29er

Miles – 29.2     Total 2012 miles – 1509.0
