What’s the orange disk in the sky? – 22nd May

The top priority of the day was to get a rear mech hanger for the Mukluk, the idiots at Rutland Cycling having let me down. I headed off down to see Si at Albany Cycles, leaving the retards from Mossdale Close opposite, running round Radford Common throwing stones at the orange shiney disk in the sky.

As usual those nice folk at Albany saved the day as Mick the mechanic dropped two replacements on the counter. A cheap pressed one or a nice CNC machined one…… Guess 🙂 While there I treated the Fisher (and my arse) to a new Charge Spoon saddle the same as the one on the Muk.

With the sun beating down I headed out along the Kenilworth Road, the trails riding really nice. A good two hours of riding followed before I headed back home. 1/2 hour later the Mukluk was rebuilt and ready to freak out some mountain bikers at Cannock!

Ride – #85     Bike – Gary Fisher Paragon 29’er

Miles – 26.4     Total 2012 miles – 1785.0
