What a difference 5 Hours Makes – 6th October

57m 59s – Fastest time on my 15.5 mile loop

Just under 5 hours after I set off for my morning ride I set off to ride the same loop again. Gone was the glorious sunrise, replaced by greyness and steady rain. With no chance of ‘enjoying’ the ride it was a simple case of head down and try and get round the same 15.5 miles loop as fast as I could.

The final 2 miles were clear of ‘school run’ traffic and I flew back into the city and got my fastest time on that loop, 57m 59s… I was soaked, but happy!

Ride – #185     Bike – Raleigh Airlite 100

Miles – 15.5     Total 2012 miles – 4129.0   (871.0 to hit 5000)
