A Quick Post Lumberjack Ride – 27th October

The aptly named Watery Lane near Corley Moor

After spending the morning taking a tree down in the garden, and trimming off the small branches to fit in the wheelie bin (bloke at work is having the big stuff for his wood burner) I had just enough time to get out for an hour or so on the bike.

The cloud started to break up at one point and there were patches of blue sky here and there, but the big black clouds floating about reminded me that I could end up getting wet. Fortunately I didn’t, but I certainly got cold. The wind now blowing from the North, hinted at things to come later in the week.
